Terms of Service
Last updated: July 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of LedgerPOS (the "Service"), provided by Echo Edge Digital Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, the business and individuals accessing it ("you", "your business") agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
LedgerPOS is a point-of-sale and inventory management system. Each business using the Service (a "tenant") gets its own isolated account and database, and can run the Service through a web browser or the LedgerPOS desktop application, which continues to record sales while offline and synchronizes automatically once a connection is available.
2. Accounts and Access
Accounts are provisioned by our team, not created through self-service signup. Once your business account exists, your designated administrator is responsible for creating and managing staff accounts, assigning roles and permissions, and keeping login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your business's accounts.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another tenant's data, interfere with the Service's operation, or use the Service to store or process data you do not have the right to hold.
4. Your Data
You retain ownership of all business data you enter into the Service, including sales, inventory, customer, and staff records. We access that data only as needed to operate, support, and maintain the Service, or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for how data is stored and protected.
5. Billing
Subscription fees, payment methods, and billing cycles are agreed with our team directly and confirmed through invoicing. Continued use of the Service is conditioned on your account remaining in good standing. We may suspend access to a business account with an outstanding balance, with reasonable notice where practical.
6. Service Availability
The desktop application is designed to keep working without an internet connection, storing sales locally on the device until a connection is restored. The web-based console and cross-device synchronization do require connectivity. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Termination
Either party may end this agreement in accordance with the terms agreed at signup. On termination, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export your business data before it is deleted from our systems.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerPOS and Echo Edge Digital Solutions are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account administrators in advance of taking effect.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent via the contact form.
