Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Echo Edge Digital Solutions ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with LedgerPOS (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you and your business provide directly, including account and staff details (name, email, phone), business information (business name, branches, catalog), and the transaction data your business records through the Service (sales, inventory movements, customer records, purchases). Devices paired to a business account also report basic sync status (last synced time, pending record counts) so administrators can monitor their tills.
2. How We Use Information
Information is used to operate and support the Service: authenticating accounts, running the point-of-sale, inventory, and reporting features you use, keeping your till and central account in sync, and responding to support requests. We do not sell your data or your business's data.
3. Data Storage and Isolation
Each business's data is stored in its own separate database, isolated from every other business using the Service. Data entered on a till while offline is stored locally on that device and transmitted to your business's account once a connection is available; it is not sent anywhere else in the meantime.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share your business's data with third parties except: service providers who help us operate the platform (for example, payment processing for your subscription), when required by law, or with your explicit consent.
5. Data Retention
We retain your business's data for as long as your account is active. If your account is closed, we retain data for a limited period to allow export or recovery before deletion, unless a longer period is required by law.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your business account by contacting us using the details below. Requests are handled by your business's administrator where the information belongs to your business's own records.
7. Cookies
The Service uses only the cookies necessary for it to function, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your interface preferences (like light/dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account administrators in advance of taking effect.
10. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent via the contact form.
